Job Title: Sales Director

Location: Remote based

Salary: £130K OTE

Are you an experienced Sales Director looking to join an exciting and growing business? Do you have experience selling into local government/authorities? Do you want to play a key role in the future development of an organisation?

The Company: Sales Director

Our client is a leading provider of managed services to local government and local authorities. The business has grown over recent years, delivering simple to complex solutions in collaboration to their client’s needs. They are looking to bring onboard a Sales Director in both a strategic and hands-on role.

The Role: Sales Director

You will be the most senior commercial person within the organisation and will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing. The role will involve managing a small sales team, setting strategic direction, whilst being involved in sales on a day-to-day basis with their largest key accounts. You will report directly into the Board of Directors, who are keen to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Director

Oversee and monitor the performance of the sales team, including their training and development.
Take the lead on sales with potential large and key clients with visits to client sites.
Produce presentations and reports for senior management on performance and sales forecasts.

Experience Required: Sales Director

Track record of managing and developing a sale team.
Experience in tendering for, and management of, contracts and clients within the public sector.
Proven track record in solution sales.
Ability to work autonomously within a B2B environment.
