Our client is seeking a Sales & Bid Coordinator to join their ambitious and well-established UK business working in their Milton Keynes based office.
Position: Sales & Bid Coordinator
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week office based
Salary: £30,(Apply online only) per annum DOE
The job will involve:
Being the main point of contact for your assigned Area Sales Managers
The review of Invitation to tender documents to determine contractor return documentation requirements and to create and execute an action plan for this.
Review and incorporate standard documentation into bids.
To liaise and proactively collaborate with colleagues across the Group to gain comprehensive and relevant information for inclusion in bids.
Requesting, collating and editing additional content provided by other departments and 3rd parties to meet the client specification.
To effectively manage bid timeline & each project milestone (multiple projects at once) to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget with all key information to respond to the Tender included.
Provide quotations and product information to new & existing clients as required.
Adjusting pricing and creating the final quote and documentation packs using our business systems, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Keeping detailed records and maintaining accurate data in the company’s business systems.
Raising and processing direct supply orders to our factory
Raising invoices for some customer types
Sourcing 3rd party pricing from suppliers as required for some projects.

Structured and accurate, especially with data input, excellent attention to detail is a must.
A natural multi-tasker, able to track and manage multiple projects concurrently, often working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
A quick learner, able to comprehend and process technical construction information.
Experienced in raising quotations, calculating detailed pricing with profit margins
A highly proficient and independent user of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Some experience of using CRM systems is advantageous
Accommodating with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude under pressure
Has a professional commitment to excellent customer service along with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Assertive and motivating, supportive of others in the workplace
Experience of bid creation & compiling sales documents including pricing & quotations
Proven track record of prioritizing workload to meet agreed timescales & deadlines & ability to manage own workload in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Experience of the construction/ landscape or similar industry
Must have a flexible approach to working hours, as business needs dictate and have a track record of thriving in a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment

Profit share scheme with £2-3k value p.a. (after completing probationary period)
