We have a unique opportunity for a Regional Account Manager to join a well renowned, global business. You'll manage an existing client base, and you'll have complete autonomy and free rein to manage your geographical area as you see fit. We're looking for someone who is keen to make a difference, add value and try new things!
You will work closely with your accounts, to really understand their business and their needs. You'll be the link between your clients and the business; managing and influencing key stakeholders. With a focus on retention and growth, you'll drive the Wholesale proposition via the continuous improvement of processes whilst being considerate of the wider business goals and objectives.
This role is field based.
As Regional Account Manager, some of your duties will include:
Driving sales by developing relationships with key decision-makers to help raise awareness of your product range and manage current accounts to assure sales profit and volume grows year after year.
You'll be the main point of contact and to help resolve any local operational issues. Showing initiative and providing solutions to client's issues and challenges, acting proactively within the client account to support the ongoing relationship.
Coordinate client relationship opportunities such as proposals, budgeting, contracts, and bulk orders.
Monitor daily, monthly, and annual key metric data and activity reports.
Offer monthly forecast reports determining revenue vs. goal forecasts and inform management on regional developments.
Maintain the CRM tool with all relevant information and activity.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders; these will include the Supply Chain Team, Regional Managers, Procurement, and the Distribution Centre.
Work with the Support Hub to perform gap analysis on your accounts and create account plans.
Proactive provision of competitor, market, and customer information.
What are we looking for?
Previous account management experience
Commercially astute
Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels
Excellent presentation skills – ability to present complex technology to key stakeholders.
Excellent Communicator – written and verbal including report writing and a basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to understand and make decisions from data
Self-starter and driven
Full Driving License as travel is expected within this role.
Wholesale experience would be beneficial
Project management experience would also be beneficial
