My client is a family-owned business, established over 50 years ago. Employing over 7,000, with a turnover of 73 million, they sit within the top 2% of all cleaning and security providers. Their service portfolio includes cleaning, security, specialist and FM services which they deliver to 5,000 locations nationwide. They are passionate about delivering a personable and reliable service.
Since 2010, they have delivered a programme of bespoke Specialist Services including industrial cleaning, floor cleaning & polishing, jet washing, deep kitchen cleans and fire, flood disaster recovery.
Due to growth my client is looking to recruit a Northern & Southern Project Sales Manager. The position will be home based, travelling to client sites as an when required.
The main objective of the role is to increase the company's sales revenue and achieve the growth plan maximising opportunities with new and existing contracts
You will be responsible for generating new business for the specialist services division, developing client relationships and the subsequent preparation and delivery of both proposals, pre-qualification and tender documents, aiming to meet the agreed sales targets
You will identify upsell and cross sell opportunities with existing clients through introductions from existing Regional I Divisional Management and identify "Top" targets as agreed with the Operations / Business Development Director as the basis of targeting process.
The role will require you to screen potential business opportunities by analysing market strategies, customer requirements, their potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities. You aim will be to close new business deals by offering bespoke solutions to the clients requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; moving on to integrating the contract requirements with the operation team.
To apply you must have experience selling specialist services, e.g., industrial/specialist cleaning, hygiene products, cleaning chemical etc and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in new business development. You must be able to give examples of negotiating and influencing with senior internal and external stakeholders, whilst also providing examples customer centric solution selling.
In return you will be offered a basic salary up to £50,000 plus an enviable commission scheme ote £90,000, car or car allowance, pension and health care
