Procurement Business Partner, £35,000 – £40,000 + benefits, Milton Keynes

Our client, a well-established and highly reputable professional services organisation, are seeking to expand their procurement team through the requirement of a Procurement Business Partner. The focus of the role is to support the Head of Procurement in delivering of procurement services to the organisation, maximising value for money and delivering a first class, professional service.

As the Procurement Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with the business to ensure the procurement process supports the business strategy

* Work closely with risk, compliance and finance departments

* Assist with the end to end tender process in adherence with required frameworks

* Work with product owners to develop the workload pipeline

* Manage the approved/preferred supplier database and manage relationships

For the Procurement Business Partner position we are looking for individuals who are ideally part or fully qualified in CIPS. If part qualified, ideally you will be actively studying towards this qualification, with transferable experience to this type of position – someone who is highly IT literate and holds a good knowledge of industry best practice in dealing with suppliers. You will need to be a confident communicator, who can be proactive, as well as having strong negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers, and self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines as required by the senior management team.
