Position: Pre-Sales Consultant (Public Sector Software)
Location: Home based with UK travel
Salary: £35 – 40K + 4.8K car allowance + Comm. (OTE £7.7K)
Summary
This is a great opportunity to join a high performing and collaborative software sales team. The Pre-Sales Consultant fully supports all sales activities within the team, working collectively to consistently achieve objectives for new business and account growth.
Role Responsibilities include:
* Assisting in all levels of account planning and undertaking presentations and product demonstrations with customers, having tailored the demonstration in accordance with the customers requirement
* Presenting the software solution to articulate the benefits to the customer in accordance with their requirement as well as being able to differentiate against competing software in the market
* Assisting in the development and delivery of high quality formal sales proposals, PQQ’s and tender responses. Ensure all written responses are of the highest quality, submitted in accordance with every aspect of the required submission and maintain a database of PQQ’s and Tenders,
* Supporting and assisting New Business and Account Management sales activities
* Supporting and assisting customer workshops and User groups
* Liaising with prospective clients regarding ITT and PQQ submission and progression as well as arranging presentations and demonstrations etc.

Our Client develops a cloud enabled HR management software system, (HRMS). It makes transactions easier, more automatic and more intelligent and helps transform customer’s people processes by using more connected ways of working across HR, payroll and workforce management.
About You
Essential Skills:
* 3+ years’ experience in a pre-sales role working within a software solutions business, (ideally software solutions to the Public Sector), with experience of presenting to customers as well as product demonstrations to customers
* 3+ years’ experience co-ordinating bid responses, ITT’s and PQQ responses etc.
* Experience translating customer needs and functional requirements into efficient solutions
* Experience or articulating and presenting product benefits and value to customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience supporting customer workshops / User groups
* Excellent organisational skills
* Willingness to travel
Desirable skills:
* HR & Payroll, HRMS software product knowledge
* Familiarity with cloud based technology
* Familiarity with hosted services
