National Sales Manager
Location: Stokenchurch, Field based, HP14 3SX
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Commission
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are a key service provider to the automotive industry and now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to join our team.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a National Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with the Head of Sales and the Directors to develop and execute effective sales strategy.
* Building, developing and driving your own as well as the departments sales pipeline to achieve sales targets
* Establishing productive and effective professional relationships with the Operations Team and with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
* Proactively investigating researching and identifying new clients to promote DEKRA’s Training and network solutions activity.
* Identifying potential for additional sales (upsell and cross-sell) with new customers.
* Identifying, developing and realising sales revenue with new customers, business and product opportunities
* Supporting the Head of Sales to diversity the client portfolio across all sectors of activity.
* Recording new opportunities, proposals and supporting documents on the central management system and provide regular updates to the Head of Sales on initiatives and activities undertaken.
* Supporting Head of Sales with sales forecasting for multiple audiences.
* Issuing proposals, following the agreed sales process and document templates in use.
* Converting proposals to orders and contract signature.
* Handover new “Won” projects to the Operations team.
* Working with the central Marketing Team to developing marketing collateral
About You
We are looking for people who can demonstrate:
* Experience within Training & Consultancy services (preferably with a high level of exposure to digital solutions – LMS, remote training, virtual/ augmented reality technologies)
* Experience in the automotive industry (desirable)
* Experienced in project management and driving sales
* Proven experience in new product solution sales in an evolving market
* Proven ability to develop and drive a pipeline of opportunities
* Excellent understanding of sales processes and service delivery
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Excellent communication – verbal and written
