National Account Manager (Rail) – Plant Hire Solutions – £50-63k plus 50% Bonus and benefits package
The Role: As a National Account Manager (Rail) you will be responsible for managing my clients most prestigious Rail account nationally. You will be working with them on site and in the board room at all levels. 20% of your time will be dealing with specialist rail equipment and 80% will be supporting them with the vast array of hire solutions available.
This is a relationship driven position and you will be working closely with Procurement Director and Operations Director level people within that organisation as well as dealing with some other major accounts not directly in the rail sector.
The National Account Manager (Rail) will be discussing projects of all sizes and involving multiple stakeholders from sub-contractors, network providers, and the main contractor themselves. This is an all encompassing National Account Manager position and having that rail industry understanding & knowledge is key to success in the role.
Requirements: To be considered for the National Account Manager (Rail) role you must:
Have a track record of selling into the Rail infrastructure industry
KAM/NAM experience
Be driven, ambitious, and passionate about relationship building
Come from a background in Plant Hire or Heavyside Construction Products
Be an effective communicator & negotiator
Have a full & clean driving licence
