An opportunity to join a leading provider of foodservice solutions who have over 50,000 products that supply all areas of the foodservice industry that range from restaurants to hotels, pubs to bars, and hospitals to education. A new vacancy has arisen for a National Account Manager to join their specialist free-trade division, giving you the opportunity to join a hugely successful team.
In this fast-paced company, no two days are the same. Their ultimate goal is to keep their customers at the heart of everything they do and to do this you need to be exemplary at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
The National Account business is sectorised, and strong knowledge of the wholesale business will be required as the candidate will be working across all trading sectors.
The successful applicant will manage a portfolio of multi-million-pound consortia customers across numerous sectors.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:
* Proven National Account Manager with excellent track record of client management, ideally with demonstrable experience of working with national foodservice clients
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel to advanced level, Word, Power Point, Outlook
* Excellent commercial acumen and verbal, written and presenting skills
* Ability to communicate effectively to board level
* Be decisive, assertive, persuasive and motivational with excellent negotiating skills
You will be innovative and demonstrate originality and creativity in finding solutions and meeting the needs of the clients and the sectors. You will have the ability to develop and communicate sound commercial arguments, and have a thorough understanding of the cost drivers and their impact on both the Company and the specific client’s needs.
On offer is a basic salary ranging from £40 – £50,000 with a £20,000 OTE, £6,000 car allowance, laptop, mobile, private medical insurance, matching contribution pension scheme, flexible benefits i.e. buy additional annual leave, healthcare cash plan, childcare vouchers, personal accident scheme, employee discounts
