An exciting FMCG company with an expanding portfolio of products selling into large national retailers, both in store and e-commerce are seeking to add a National Account Manager to their team to handle the growing number a larger retailers listing their products.
Your remit will include:
Direct account responsibility for a determined number of major accounts.
Work with the UK sales and marketing teams to build business plans for each customer, that fit the account needs, whilst achieving profitable growth in line with company and brand budgets.
Present monthly sales forecasts, updated performance and proposed activity for each account to the Sales & Marketing Director
Work closely with sales administration to ensure good follow up to meetings with customers and ensure maximum serviceability.
Identify new accounts, and new prospective types of retail distribution.
Manage the integration of new brands into account business plans and identify additional areas of distribution, to ensure maximum distribution is achieved
Participate in UK line reviews, giving detailed sales perspective on proposed new product launches.
The role will require a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a National Account Management position handling large scale retailers. You will be able to demonstrate applicable experience of using sales tools, to measure against and manage budgets. Strong presentation and negotiation skills will be critical to your success, based on a foundation of real detail in your understanding of customer needs and company requirements and strategies. Self-motivation and being a solution driven problem solver are also important attributes. The package will include a car allowance, bonus, private health, 25 days holidays
