Sales Management role for a thriving division of a Healthcare SME

Full company and product training will be given and career / earning prospects are very attractive.THE COMPANY: A privately owned organisation operating across a wide range of product areas and devices within the NHS. This particular division of the business is focused on enteral feeding and patient nutrition products. They provide a range of feeding accessories, equipment and consumables used by neo-natal, paediatrics and other clinical teams within hospitals. An exciting opportunity currently exists for a commercially minded, structured, people manager to coach, develop and really drive the area business managers across the UK.
THE ROLE: The National Sales Manager will manage a team of 7 Area Sales Managers across the UK with regular field visits and joint meetings across NHS trusts in the UK. The role will be home based with bi-monthly meetings in the northern head office. Reporting to the Head of Sales across the wider business, this role is ideal for a candidate with 3 years or more in regional or field management position who is now wanting the step to manage a larger team in a fast-paced SME.
As well as providing structured sales coaching to their team and motivating individuals to hit their personal targets, they will also look to add value on product launches, pricing, and negotiate at a senior level with NHS procurement teams to provide more commercially viable packages for the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 3 years plus management experience in medical
Candidates will preferably have a proven medical devices / consumables or healthcare related sales track record
An understanding of providing commercial packages, delivering tenders and evaluating cost proposals with the NHS is of real benefit.
Applications are also being considered from those who have experience managing in other sectors if there is a base of medical sales on the CV.PACKAGE:
Basic: £50-55,000
Commission: £25,000 uncapped
Car: £625 per month car allowance +45ppm for first 10,000 miles
