Lighting Sales Engineer/£45 000 p/a/Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire/lighting manufacturer/
Great opportunity to join award – winning commercial lighting company as their Sales Engineer for the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire territory: Covering Bedford (Borough), Milton Keynes, Central Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Luton.
This is an autonomous and consultative field sales position reporting into a Regional Manager.
This exciting role is a mixture of new business sales and existing client development. The ideal candidate will have a track record in selling lighting solutions to commercial organisations. You will be required to gain specification & achieve business revenue promoting commercial & industrial, energy efficient lighting solutions. Your main industries you will supply to are NHS, Schools, Warehouses -previous experience supplying to similar industries would be a great advantage.
This is a remote/home-based role, however you will be expected to work within the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshir territory, network with clients on daily basis. We would like Sales Engineer to be based within this territory.
Key Responsibility
* Define and execute sales plans to grow the business across
* Actively seek out new projects and leads
* Aim to exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and play an active role in sales
* Forecast & Maintain the expected company margin on all sales targets
* Manage all sales enquiries by personal client visits, Email, Social Media, Skype meetings.
* Actively participating in sales presentations and light trade shows
* Monitor variety of sales leads & new contacts
* Understanding of Relux/Dialux lighting planning software is desirable
