International Distributor Development Manager

We are recruiting for a newly created International Distribution Development Manager to join an aggressively growing manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. The role will be responsible for developing international business growth through implementation of a global distributor network. To develop and manage client relationships whilst professionally representing the brand.

Please note: Current methods of Communication and Presentation; due to business travel restrictions, this role is office based and mainly phone, email and video conferencing focused with limited face-to-face selling.
Job Responsibilities:
* To develop a distribution network with international partners covering key geographical locations.
* Identify, nurture and acquire new international customers (distributors and large retailers)
* Manage existing key and standard account business, developing new product sales and initiatives, and developing new account sales.
* Ensure existing international accounts are fully supported via regular account reviews and product promotion activity.
* Provide market intelligence to marketing and product development team on competitive products, solutions and activities.
* Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into CRM maintaining accurate project notes and information for mailing purposes.
* Prepare monthly sales activity reports and forecasts.
Experience & Skills:
* Proven track record in identifying, engaging, and securing new business relationships.
* Must be resilient, commercially minded, and entrepreneurial
* Must have knowledge of Foodservice, Hospitality or Construction industries.
* Experience essential in creating, developing, and maintaining successful international business relationships at a senior level.
* Ability to utilise government (DTI) support and resources to develop overseas business where applicable.
* Able to quickly gain, maintain and share product knowledge with customers/distributor network effectively.
Full / Clean Driving license is also essential
