Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an Internal Sales Engineer based in Milton Keynes for a well-established electronics company.

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm 

The role…

As the Internal Sales Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

Responsible for applying product knowledge to provide technical sales proposals.
Maintain up to date knowledge of new and existing products to be able to provide product sales support for all customer accounts through telephone, email, web and internal channels.
Monitor, take ownership and respond to customer enquiries.
Escalate where appropriate to 2nd and 3rd line support.
Produce help sheets for FAQs into the knowledge hub.
Provide appropriate support to sales and marketing activity campaigns.
Develop specialist knowledge in your designated focus industry. 
Handle sales calls relating to a broad product range taking ownership of the issue or problem.
Deliver technical responses in an appropriate and professional manner and escalate when appropriate. 
Pre-sales selection with a technical awareness of the product ranges.
Handle product environmental enquiries and quality issues related to products. 
Identify commercial opportunities for product sales and services.
The experience required…

As a successful Internal Sales Engineer, you will have the following:

Experience working within a sales role and confidence in promoting sales.
ONC/Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or related discipline to a Level 3.
Technical sales/customer service experience is advantageous.
Ability to extract and impart technical information in a clear and understandable way. 
Excellent reporting and documenting skills.
Strong IT skills with good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and Teams. 

This role would suit a Technical Sales Advisor, Internal Sales, Sales Executive.
