An established and growing family-owned business with exciting and ambitious growth plans is expanding its sales team even further.
They require an internal sales account manager to manage its existing customer base within an assigned geographical region. The main purpose of the role is to develop the customer account by building strong and lasting relationships to drive growth.
You will have a customer-first mentality and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and will take a proactive approach in developing existing accounts with a massive emphasis on providing outstanding customer service and care.
Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Manager in a busy and vibrant office environment with over 20 people in the department, the key responsibilities are:
* Proactive Account Management with existing customers
* Consistent outbound calling to capture regular orders and other sales opportunities and grow customer accounts
* Management of sales pipeline
* Booking visits for supporting area sales manager and completion of any actions arising from those meetings
* Quotation and sample request follow ups
* Sales Administration – manage and maintain CRM
