We're seeking an Inside Sales Associate for our client in Milton Keynes, a global leader in IT asset disposition, secure data destruction and technology manufacturing services. This is a permanent position with a salary of £25,000 – £30,000 and a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team environment where building a sustainable future is at the heart of what they do.
Role and Responsibilities
To act as an ambassador for the business, and promote the centre and its products
To be responsible for making outbound communications on a daily basis using the Sales database
To work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales team to ensure leads are generated within various business sectors
To achieve agreed personal and departmental targets captured from calling data provided
To inform potential client's on the company’s products and services
To gather relevant target customer information
To use company databases to gain potential leads
To be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business
To input and maintain information onto the company database
To deal with telephone queries
To build relationships with colleagues and clients
To deal with clients in a professional manner at all times aligned to our brand values
To ensure service is prompt, polite and professional standards are kept
To assist with other departments as required This role is Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4.30 pm.
Skills and experience
Degree level education or 2+ years’ B2B or B2C sales experience desirable
Excellent communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Good verbal and written skills
A positive approach to objection handling is essential
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
You must be motivated, energetic and reliable with a hunger to succeed
An interest in the IT and sustainability business
Good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of Microsoft Office, CRM (salesforce) and Social Networking (LinkedIn)
