My client is a major player within the mechanical engineering market. They supply a range of premium mechanical products to the OEM and End User markets. They have a strong footprint across the Oil & Gas, Process and Heavy industrial markets with 6 offices across 2 continents.
Products Experience Required – Valves, Pumps, MRO, Bearings, Seals, Fasteners, Instrumentation, Piping, Compressors, Related Products
Industry Experience – Industrial / Oil & Gas / Process –
Regions – Northern Home Counties / South East UK
* To be the main liaison between the customer (Industrial) and the Company, its products and services.
* Generation of new clients along with servicing the needs of existing customers.
* Travelling to visit potential and existing clients.
* Developing and growing long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Managing and interpreting customer requirements speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs; integrating the complete portfolio into a complete solution.
* Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
* Acquiring new and maintaining existing agreements with Customers
* Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential in designated regions.
* To maintain Key Accounts within the sales region, reporting all activities to the Key Accounts Manager.
* Prepare and present client quotations and obtain feedback on bids.
* Offering after-sales support services.
* Preparing reports for head office, including market and sales forecasts for business planning purposes.
* To achieve agreed sales targets for standard products, system and servicing sales annually.
* Attending regular sales meetings.
* Recording and maintaining client contact data;
* Coordinating sales projects with the Systems Department, including securing orders, technical discussions and negotiations.
* Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
* To update market share and competitors’ activities.
* Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
