Head of Sales/Business Development Director – Hard FM Services
The Client:
A well-known organisation that has shown significant growth in recent years in terms of headcount and revenue. They are cash-rich with a full order book for next year. Recent growth has resulted in the formation of a new division which has already achieved significant sales revenue over the last twelve months. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Director who can build a new sales team and facilitate further growth.
The Role:
Initially this will be a hands-on role where you will play a leading role in developing existing/new accounts for direct business and tender opportunities. Our client promotes a range of services including Dry Waste, Building Refurbishment, Plumbing/Heating and Landscaping where they have already been successful in both private and public sectors. One of your initial tasks will be to design and implement a sales strategy for the next 1 – 5 years. On approval, you will agree on budgets including immediate hiring needs for your sales team with the sales team expected to grow to 10+. You will have plenty of support in terms of internal sales, marketing and operations, allowing to focus on developing the business.
The Person:
It is likely that you are a senior Business Development professional who is used to leading teams but also having direct sales responsibility for growing accounts. A ‘new business’ focus and mentality is important, as is the ability to create a culture and environment for others to grow and develop.
The Rewards:
A basic salary of £70 – 80,000 is on offer. A full benefits package including company car or car allowance is included.
