Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Graduate Digital Marketing Executive with some Web Master experience to join our team to drive our SEO and PPC campaign activity on our websites and to assist with our structured expansion. They will be responsible for ensuring that all websites are functional, user-friendly, visually pleasing, and up-to-date.
This graduate position will primarily involve the devising and implementation of a dedicated PPC strategy to the business, as well as the management of a number of campaigns according to these strategies.
You will also be responsible for the daily management of the websites, ensuring that the content is current and accurate, analysing and drawing insight from third party analytics data, implementing innovative management techniques to maximise campaign performance, etc.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be proficient in SEO/PPC/Google Analytics/Google AdWords in order to bring in new customers via SEO best practice, PPC campaigns, and industry competitor research. It will be advantageous for the candidate to have the following skills:
* Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
* Experience of PPC campaign account
* Good knowledge of Google Analytics and other third-party analytics platforms;
* Successfully managed PPC budgets;
* Google Adwords fundamental certified;
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
* Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
* Working to tight deadlines and coping with ad-hoc requests
* Advanced knowledge of Web Analytics tools and the ability to analyse and action improvements
Responsibilities / Key Objectives
* Deliver increased traffic and turnover to the Green Motion websites
* Improve the user experience, and increase conversion from traffic to leads to acquisition.
* Ensure website performance is optimised
* Maintain website content, including write ups for country and location pages, destination and other specific page copy when required
* Monitoring online traffic and conversions
* Report any bugs and ensure broken links or images are fixed
* Research market trends, new technologies and new opportunities including SEO competitor market research
* Continuously make recommendations for improvements based on web best practices.
* Investigating and correcting any operational / technical issues that arise
* Ensure that the websites are integrated with all Google tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Webmaster Tools
* Ensure website is fully responsive for design and function across all devices categories
* Test all site developments across browsers, operating systems and devices, debugging pages, fixing broken links or images.
* Deliver content initiatives that support the overall trading and content strategy and business objectives.
Attributes / Technical Skills
* Must be proficient with CMS systems or have strong CMS Experience
* An in-depth understanding of the implications of search engine optimisation, usability and accessibility for digital content
* Excellent understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google MyBusines, Tag Manager etc.
Qualifications and other requirements
* Degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
