Commercial Sales Manager – Built Environment Mechanical Solutions £70k – £80k base + £25k yearly OTE uncapped, paid quarterly.
Candidate Summary of Experience – Mechanical sales background within the built environment (commercial buildings or multi occupancy residential high rise) and ideally qualifications, Sales Management leading a higher performing new business and account management sales teams, Commercial Management with target setting, sales budget responsibility +£10M, sales strategies, link in to marketing, operations and ideally some level of P&L.
Region:
South East (Office located in the South East but flexible working week 3 day office / 2 day home if required)
The Role:
An exciting senior level commercial sales opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer of the latest renewable and sustainable mechanical products for the built environment that are helping drive towards a net zero carbon economy. The role is both sales leadership and commercially focused so you will be fundamental in deploying sales and marketing strategies for their highest performing region and you will have the responsibility of heading up a direct reporting team of high performing established field sales professionals for the region and dotted line technical solution sales specialists, both office based and external. You will be entering a business that is part way through an exciting growth strategy which you will be a fundamental part of by leading the already highest performing sales team and region.
Candidate Experience:
The company is looking for someone with extensive successful people management experience in terms of coaching and skills cultivation (sales excellence) to continue the increase in sales growth of an already consistently high performing sales team. Furthermore, someone that has higher level management commercial responsibility experience around change management and process improvement / optimisation, as this position comes at an exciting time of cultural shift from a units / volume sales approach from siloed teams to a consultative solutions sales focus through internal collaboration (matrix/dotted line reports) and external customer centricity. As the Commercial Sales Manager you will also manage and cultivate their largest key client relationships of several top consultants, contractors, distributors / stockists and end users. The region is one of the highest performing so they are looking for someone that has ideally had a +£10M sales budget and P&L responsibility.
Package:
Initial indications on package are from £70,000 to £80,000 base salary with +£100k OTE (realistic achievable additional +£25k no matter what base for the year but uncapped and paid quarterly)+ car/car allowance, a very generous pension scheme and other extensive benefits but there may potentially be some further flexibility depending on the individual.
