Valves & Process Equipment Sales

North East & East of England – Nottingham, Norwich, Leicester, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds & Lincoln

Sales Engineer / Sales Manager required for a manufacturer of valves, instrumentation, actuators and associated process equipment to cover the East, Midlands and North East England. The Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will be planning and carrying out customer visits as well as developing and maintaining relationships with customers at all levels. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a range of valves, instrumentation, actuators and other process equipment.

Up to £50,000 basic salary

The role

Working from home, the Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will grow sales across North East England, hitting their sales targets selling into process industries, such as: Pharmaceutical, Bio-Pharm, Hygiene, Food, Food Production, Beverage, Chemical, Power, Water, Waste Water, Cosmetics, Oil & Gas, Nuclear & and customer types such as End Users, Contractors, OEMs etc.

Selling valves, instrumentation, actuators or similar process equipment

Ensure Quotes are issued in line with the customer’s expectations.

Manage Supplier Relationships.

Contribute toward the development of the company’s product range based on analysis of the market, the environment and consumer / competitor trends.

Identify emerging trends and develop new product opportunities to increase company market share.

Deliver customer trade shows and product events.

Liaise with various engineering departments

Requirements

The Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will have previous experience selling valves, instrumentation, actuators or similar process equipment

A proven sales track record would be a distinct advantage

Ability to develop customer relationships with key influencers and decision makers at all levels

A technical qualification would be advantageous

Based on the patch and willing to cover North East & East of England – Nottingham, Norwich, Leicester, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds & Lincoln

Full clean driving license
