Business Development Manager (Fire)
Home / Field Based Position – you would be covering the southern region for the client
Permanent
£45,000 + car allowance + bonus
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for increasing business in the fire function by closing developed sales opportunities and discovering new streams of interest. New business will be done through attending appointments generated by both an Internal Business Development Managers and self-generation.
The Responsibilities
* Responsible for delivering against clear set goals and targets
* Responsible for researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads, and following through to a successful agreement
* Managing large complex deals to multisite and larger organisations, whilst providing a consultative approach in dealing with client requirements
* Understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
* Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met, scoping and pricing contracts
* Developing and delivering presentations to secure new business
* Dealing with; SME decision makers procurement teams and tender processes
* Maintaining relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
* Following the latest industry developments and staying up to date on corporate competitors
Service Delivery
* Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
The Requirements
* We are looking for you to have knowledge and experience in dealing with larger complex deals to multisite and larger organisations and have a consultative approach in dealing with client requirements.
* You will be a strong communicator capable of handling varied client types with ease.
* Experience in solution/consultative sales into; Education, Healthcare, Hospitality and Leisure sectors is highly desirable.
* You will have experience in a Fire solutions sales role. Negotiation and presentation skills are fundamental to gaining new business.
* Experience of scoping and pricing within the Heating/Gas sector is desirable.
* You will have extensive experience in dealing with, SME decision makers procurement teams and tender processes.
* We will need you to have a full UK diving license as the role involves regional travel (with a dedicated territory).
The Rewards
* Starting basic salary of £45,000 plus a car allowance plus a bonus
