Business Development Executive

Cranfield

Permanent

£23,000 – £27,000 per annum + bonus

Our client, based in Cranfield is the manufacturer and supplier of their own unique and innovative, high-end products. They are quality focused and driven to deliver their customers a first-class service. As a Business Development Executive the purpose of your role is to grow and develop business, creating sales opportunities with new and existing customers.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Creating sales opportunities and revenue in assigned accounts and develop new business.
Sourcing leads using LinkedIn, cold calling, events and networking.
Presenting the portfolio of products to potential and existing accounts through direct communication.
Following up cold and warm leads to qualify and book initial meetings.
Securing appointments to be passed on to the sales team.
Creating and maintaining all records in the sales CRM accurately.
Taking responsibility for customer satisfaction, answering any questions or sending additional information if required.
Attending customer meetings and attending trade shows with the Field Sales executives from time to time.
Delivering weekly and monthly reporting on the progress of activities as well as maintaining a sales forecast quarterly and annually.
