The Job: Business Development Executive (Sales)
Location: Milton Keynes, Bucks
Salary: Basic up to £28k depending in experience, OTE up to £48k
We currently have an exciting opportunity at BSI for a Business Development Executive within the highly successful sales team based 3 days in our offices-based Milton Keynes and 2 days home based.
We offer a highly competitive salary from up to £28k basic with a fantastic and over achievable OTE of £48,000.

About the Business Development Executive role:
As the Business Development Executive for BSI you will be playing a pivotal role in the team managing and developing a set of accounts where you will be advising on a range of world class business improvement solutions to both new and existing customers across a wide range of business sectors working in partnership with the customer to establish an understanding of their commercial drivers and how BSI can enable them to become more efficient.
A full training programme will be provided for you when you start which will involve training on our range of BSI products before reaching out to clients. These solutions include a range of products and services such as ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
Key Skills for the Business Development Executive role:
– Proven business to business sales experience managing a portfolio of clients as well as developing new business
– Experience of identifying other opportunities to upsell and cross-sell into other business streams
– Full sale lifecycle, able to convert initial enquiries right through to closing a deal
– Experience of establishing executive level relationships
– Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to confidently communicate complex technical issues and to successfully encourage customers to expand their product range
– Degree level qualification, equivalent educated or a proven track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations in a sales environment
We require a salesperson who is constantly striving to investigate, explore and understand customer needs in order to maximise opportunities. To be successful in this role you’ll need excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills obtained from a desirable solution.
