We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing, innovative technology company based in Milton Keynes.
The company is at the cutting edge of providing new and exciting solutions in the Managed Service Provider space and they're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Executive who thrives in a target-driven environment.
As Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for being the first point of contact with existing customers and prospects over the phone
whilst also being targeted to source new business leads, cold leads as well as being provided with warm leads, so some solid sales experience would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with customers, existing and new, to establish their needs and optimum solutions for their business
Prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle
Maintain good working relationships with your account portfolio
Recognise, evaluate, and capitalise on potential opportunities for additional business
Proposing and presenting solutions with relevant decision‐makers
Working effectively with all colleagues especially within the Sales Team
Hitting weekly and monthly sales targets, this is a highly target driven role
Take ownership of customers issues or needs to ensure that all aspects are resolved and/or seen through to completion
Present and follow up on proposals, negotiate and close deals
Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Person/Technical Specification
A minimum of 2 years B2B telephone sales or account management experience
Proven experience dealing with Microsoft technologies
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers face to face and on the phone
Some previous technical knowledge would be an advantage
A results-orientated mindset
A strong customer satisfaction focus
The ability to discuss and present solutions at senior decision-maker level in SME’s
Strong commercial skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
Keen with accurate attention to detail This role is based in Milton Keynes with a salary range of £21,500 – £26,500 per annum plus commission.
