Area to be covered: London & Home Counties
Based: 1hr from High Wycombe
Remuneration: £35,000 – £42,000 + 10%-15% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Construction Hire Lifting will involve:
* Field sales role promoting the hire our client’s range of mini cranes, glass lifters, vacuum lifters, glazing robots and other specialist lifting machinery (500 different products)
* Selling into tier 2 contractors, glazing contractors, cladding contractors, façade contractors, steel erectors and other specialist sub contractors
* Contract values can vary from £100 up to £40,000, with an average hire contact value around £10,000-£15,000
* Targeted to achieve £800,000-£1m
* Predominantly new business development, bur will involve a small number of accounts to manage and also targeting many lapsed/ dormant customers
* Typically 2-3 appointed customer visits per day, plus 3/d “drop ins” when out on site
* Focus of the role will be London
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Construction Hire Lifting with:
* Must have a demonstrable track record in hire sales within the construction industry
* Specific knowledge of mini cranes, glass lifters, vacuum lifters, glazing robots and other specialist lifting machinery is not essential
* Our client is open to any hire sales experience such as formwork, heath & safety, PPE, construction supplies, modular accommodation, plant hire, diggers, dumpers, excavators, tools, access platforms etc.
* New business hunter mentality
* High energy/ hard working
* Role will not suit a 9 to 5 mentality
* Preferably worked for a private company rather than a large corporate
* Able to work autonomously
* Self motivated, hungry, pro-active and hands-on personality
