Area Sales Manager Role:
Obtain a thorough knowledge of the company, their offering and the markets they operate within, in order to have valuable conversations with clients
Build your own personal book of clients by engaging and establishing a professional rapport with individuals within your territory
Anticipate new business by keeping on top of industry trends and conducting market research to identify appropriate new accounts
Regularly attend meetings either in person or online
Support senior sales team members through analysing territory performance and producing accurate and timely reports
Manage and maintain the company CRM system, ensuring all sales related activity is input accurately and efficiently
This role offers real autonomy with managing your own territory and fantastic opportunities to travel monthly with the role being field-based
Area Sales Manager:
Educated to degree level
Driving licence
Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated, you will need to be able to effectively work independently with the role requiring you to work remote
Ideally, you’ll have a proven experience of managing a sales territory preferably within a retail and FMCG environment
