JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager – window & door locking systems, construction, architectural ironmongers
We are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to further establish our strong presence within the South of England to achieve profitable sales growth of our products and solutions within the timber door set sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager – window & door locking systems, construction, architectural ironmongers
· Develop relationships with timber door set manufacturers and architectural ironmongers
· Build relationships with Architects, Main Contractors, M&E contractors as well as clients that will include Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
· Demonstrate the ability to manage projects, working with architectural ironmongers and fabricator network, through to completion.
· Achieve specification, turnover and margin plans.
· Have the ability to fully understand and impart industry standards relating to Fire and Security with particular emphasis on Dual Certification solutions for Fire Doors
· Create an affiliation network with common suppliers, such as Access Control partners
· Deliver CPD seminars when required
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager – window & door locking systems, construction, architectural ironmongers
· A field sales person looking to develop their career with a market leader who offers significant career growth opportunities.
· Some knowledge of the construction industry, particularly selling via Architects, Specifiers, and Main Contractors is essential.
· Knowledge of architectural ironmongery, timber door set manufacturers, locking systems or access control solutions, would be of particular interest, although not essential
· Commercially astute and consultative approach to new business development.
· Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
· Influencing skills and experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
