The Role: Working for a true brand leader as an Area Sales Manager you will be tasked with a mix of generating new business and managing existing accounts for our client. Based in the field, the successful candidate will be targeting a variety of direct users – selling to the HoReCa, healthcare, public services, waste management and building services sectors.
You will be a solution led salesperson the expert representing professional cleaning equipment and associated consumables. As part of your sales process, you will be conducting demonstrations and showcasing products. You must use your initiative to generate new market openings and some leads will be passed through the internal database.
The Company: Our client was established over 80 years ago and is a well-established, market-leading cleaning-solution company. The business specialises in professional and household cleaning solutions and machines. Our client is now looking for a new Area Sales Manager to further increase their exposure of East England and the Midlands with someone living on patch.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Previous experience of selling capital equipment (open to sector)
Have worked for a manufacturer or distributor
Distributor and end user management
You will have ideally sold to some or all of the following: HORECA, Healthcare, Public Services, Waste Management and Building Services
Demonstration-led sales highly desirable
Outgoing, dynamic and confident personality with a consultative sales approach
Driving licence
