Apple Resourcing are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager for one of our key clients, a leading engineering and manufacturing company.
You will be field based covering the Northern Home Counties, competitive salary DOE+ commission, company car and other excellent benefits.
Responsibilities;
* Meeting clients face to face, arranging appointments via phone and email
* Introduce company products & brand into the UK plumbing market
* Initiate and maintain contact with client’s
* Target key clients such as heating & plumbing merchants, new build contractors, Regional and Small Developers, M & E Consultants, Architects & Specifiers etc.
* Positively influence the decision regarding the selection or specification of the product range to establish product within the target market.
* Collating detailed intelligence on related products and the market
* Efficiently and effectively drive & develop the company’s strategic & assertive sales plan within appointed distributors.
* Support clients through demand generation working with their external sales teams, regional and branch management.
* Ensuring sales targets are consistently met
Requirements;
* Must have previous sales experience working for a plumbing/heating manufacturer/merchant
* Must understand the plumbing and heating industry and route to market
* Able to demonstrate strengths within the contractor & developer sectors
* A committed sales person with good negotiating & closing skills
* Able to manage merchants in order to maintain control of the sales process
* Self-starter who can use their own initiative
* Excellent communication skills
* Must have a full, clean UK drivers licence
