An opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an Account Manager within their innovative and ambitious software business. The Account Manager will have a varied and exciting role in a business that is rapidly expanding.
The Account Manager will be a key member of the Business Management team and will play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of our contracts into the Public Sector and consequently the success and profitability of the business. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including development of key client relationships in the Public Sector, optimisation of revenue opportunities and input into the strategic development of the department as a whole. Ultimately the role is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the business are delivering best value to our clients.
The role will be remote 4 days per week with ideally 1 day per week in their office in Milton Keynes.
The Role
Relationship and Contract Management
* Ownership of a portfolio of customers: prospective and existing clients
* Management of account strategies and plans to deliver client objectives
* Develop and maintain client relationships at senior levels
* Production and analysis of management information
* Utilise performance reports to design and implement initiatives
* Agree, deliver and maintain client SLAs and KPIs
Revenue Management
* Work with business development team to ensure contract maximisation and expansion
* Responsible for turnover and net profit
* Identification of opportunities and leads within current client base by leveraging existing relationships
* Undertaking sales presentations to prospective and existing clients
* Ensure a high level of customer retention and contract renewal
* Revenue generation strategy management
The Person
The successful applicant will be highly analytical, with a proven ability to interpret a set of figures and create an action plan based on the results. The AM will be required to articulate information in a way that is both interesting and compelling allowing clients to arrive at informed decisions.

The Salary
The role offers a competitive starting salary of £40,000-£50,000 plus car allowance and £25-£30K OTE
