Job Title: Development Executive

Salary: 25k-30k depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday – 39.5 a week

Job Purpose
The Development Executive will assist with the performance, development and optimisation of our online channels and platforms. You will work closely with our Online Development Operations Manager, our wider eCommerce team, our internal IT team and our external agency partners to develop our eCommerce capability.
You will be passionate about eCommerce and comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on with our various web platforms. The job holder will have a commercial awareness and understanding of eCommerce and the role development plays within it.
Responsibilities
Support the Development Operations Manager to deliver effective day to day running of the website to offer our customers seem-less, first class experience.
Work with the team to deliver the development roadmap.
Perform UAT testing for new website development initiatives.
Support ideation, product backlog management and ticket creation.
Provide support to the eCommerce team, including site monitoring and ad hoc tasks.
Build great relationships with our 3rd party partners.
Support the business with using our web platform, ensuring they have all the support they need to do their job.

Skills & Experience
Minimum of one year’s experience working in a fast paced, eCommerce or retail business
Experience working with a content management system (CMS).
An understanding of MVT and A/B testing.
Experience of UAT testing is advantageous
An understanding of Digital Marketing.
Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of user analytics (Adobe, Google Analytics etc) is desirable.
Experience with Google Tag Manager is desirable.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script is desirable
