An opportunity has arisen for a Summer Retail Assistant on a contract basis until the end of September 2021.  

This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy being busy and are looking for work over the summer.  

You will be part of a much valued and highly regarded, local retail service. Joining the small and friendly team, you will be providing the best possible customer service to their customers.  

You will have a variety of tasks to keep you busy. including keeping the store fully stocked and helping customers find the correct school uniform items in the appropriate size for their children. You will also work behind the click and collect desk, dealing with customers picking up their online orders, checking them and handing over the items.  

We are looking for a Summer Retail Assistant who has the following essential attributes:

An energetic person with an engaging personality and happy to work with the public in a customer facing role.
Reliable, punctual and a good team player who can be depended upon during the busiest months of our retail period.
Flexible and adaptable to be able to turn your hand to a great variety of retail tasks.
As Summer Retail Assistant, you will be working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week including every Saturday and some Sunday and bank holiday Monday hours during August.
