A growing business that is quickly becoming one of the UK’s leading art-retailers is looking for a Gallery Manager due to continued success.
Along with a salary of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, you will also receive 20 days holiday and 8 floating bank holidays as well as an uncapped commission structure in line with success (OTE £50,000).
As a Gallery Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Offering professional, friendly and expert consultation's selling sculptures, limited edition and original paintings.
* Providing a unique home approval service where you will offer consultations in the comfort of your client’s home.
* Striving to achieve realistic but challenging gallery targets and build a loyal client base.
* Reporting to the directors, developing and motivating your team, identifying opportunities to develop your galleries client base whilst offering exceptional customer service, attending artist events, ensure the gallery is well-presented as well as hanging and positioning paintings and sculptures.
We are looking for a Gallery Manager who has the following skills and experiences:
* Experience in the world of Art is not necessary however you must be a proven retail manager with a passion for those things that are nice!
* You will be a self-motivated individual who understands the tastes and requirements of your client and understands how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships – ultimately a candidate that feels as passionate about selling art and providing a personal and unique service to clients.
* You will be a professional and inspiring Manager motivated by sales targets and be inspired by commissionable sales to ensure monthly targets are achieved.
* Personality is everything in this role, my client recruits warm, engaging and professional individuals who can motivate and lead a team.
* Management experience is essential.
* A driving license for home approvals.
