The Person

The Role
So, yes, charity retail. Its not what you think for a start. Not for this company anyway. Firstly, they only sell fashion and home furnishings that are right on trend and stores are set up to compete on the high street with anyone else. The role is just as commercial and just as challenging as anywhere and managers are expected to utilise all their previous visual and fashion experience to set up and run a commercially viable business. There’s a team to manage that includes some really dedicated volunteers but also paid employees and the KPI’s you have now will be just as important here. The difference? Well, what you do impacts real people in a really meaningful way. How’s that for job satisfaction?
The Company

Retail is part of the bigger business and is an important part for generating revenue and raising awareness. The stores are central to the company’s ability to do what they do but the wider business is financially stable and always willing to consider progressing its people
