A leading manufacturer is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team! Managing the database, liaising with external providers & coordination are just a few tasks in this varied role. With a great package & development opportunities this is one not to be missed!
About the role:
Managing the ordering & inventory on the MRP system: including receiving, storing and retrieving data where needed
Logging all price quotations & drawings on the system
Procurement of parts, equipment & fixed assets
Ordering bespoke components & consumable items where needed
Creating enquiry packages on behalf of the buying team
Direct contact with vendors to close purchase orders
Processing returns
Provide reports & data
General Admin to support the above
About you:
Experience within a similar Procurement or Purchasing role
Working knowledge of MS Office Packages
Prior experience in using an MRP or CRM system
Confident telephone manner
High organisational & written skills
What's on offer:
Salary £25,500
Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
Profit related bonus
5% contributory pension scheme (after 3 months)
