Great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a Purchasing team as a Purchasing Assistant!! Our client based just a few miles away from Aylesbury and within twenty minutes of High Wycombe and Oxford.
Working in a busy hire office working as a Purchasing Assistant you will be working alongside a Procurement team & an Engineer Coordinator.

Responsibilities, Matching payments to invoices/receipts. Ordering and managing work wear. Raising and placing stationery and consumables orders. Processing fuel receipts and monitoring changes in costs. Assist the Customer Service team with the design and production of decals. Manage and update machine specific manuals and documents in a variety of languages. Assist managing inbound and outbound deliveries.
Updating spreadsheets and databases accurately and in a timely manner. Arranging equipment exchanges and report of thorough examination. Raising purchase orders for the training team. Expediting shipments of parts and equipment. Chasing missing import/export data, hauliers for updates.
Experience Knowledge and Skills needed? Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft office packages with the ability to quickly organise and analyse data using VLOOKUP and other advanced formulas. Thorough attention to detail. Analytical thinking skills. Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external sources. Ability to be flexible and open to changes.
Some knowledge of SAP however not essential as internal training can be provided. Good customer service. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Willingness to work towards CIPS qualifications . Some experience working in a procurement or related organisation is desirable ( not essential! )
