BASIC SALARY: £27,000

LOCATION: Milton Keynes
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You'll need to commute to our Head Office in Milton Keynes, but you could be based in Northampton, Bedford, Luton, Towcester, Leighton Buzzard, Wellingborough, Olney, Daventry, Rugby, Bicester, Banbury or Aylesbury.

We are a leading specialist distributor with an impressive record of continuous growth and a passion for providing a shining service – due to growth – we need another National Purchasing Analyst to join our team.
 
You'll have a proven track record of purchasing with a high volume of SKUs. You could have experience from any type of retail, trade, distribution or wholesale sector.
 
As our Purchasing Analyst you'll be one of a small, close knit team, with your primary focus being to plan, forecast and procure stock. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you'll be responsible for your own portfolio of new and existing suppliers. You'll liaise on a daily basis with all departments, our warehouse and suppliers to ensure we continue contributing to a service to be really proud of.
 
As our National Purchasing Analyst, you'll bring:
· extensive purchasing experience, including purchase order placement. You'll oversee the purchase process from beginning to end and have discretion on where to purchase from.
· experience of forecasting. It's imperative that all purchase orders are passed correctly with no discrepancies. On a daily basis you will oversee hundreds – if not thousands – of SKUs.
· an in-depth working ability of Excel and its functions.
