Is this role right for me?

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. For this role in particular we are looking for someone with the following Knowledge, Skills and Experience;

Ability to prioritise work loads
PC literate – excellent working knowledge of Excel
Purchasing experience
Understanding of demand planning / forecasting
Experience in working with ERP, demand planning or purchasing systems
Highly organised, reliable, analytical and flexibleIn this role you will:

Review system ordering suggestion for accuracy and optimum delivery with correct pricing
Complete regular stock reviews & arrange annual/quarterly stock cleanses with suppliers
Buying and ordering stock at agreed calculated prices
Keep data integrity on operating system for product information up to date
Ensure goods are received in at quoted delivery times
Monitor stock availability, stock values & back orders
System uploads for system data integrity – includes price file, product information etc.
Liaise with manufacturers with a high standard of communication
Ensure all product forecasts and usage data is accurate
Ensure stock holdings are checked regularly & stock split correctly across all depotsAbout us
