Walters People are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a growing business with the migration of a ledger following a recent acquisition.
Within the project, the following tasks will need to be completed:
– Check the last 12 months bank statements and identify any suppliers not yet identified
– Migrate and set up any missing suppliers in the system
– Update the integrity of the master data including validating supplier information including payment terms, contact email addresses, business addresses payment methods etc.
– Request supplier statements and reconcile
– Confirm which suppliers are on DD and which are manual
– Make contact with suppliers and establish communication so that they direct their queries to the correct mailbox
– Identify vendors that don't comply with their standard operating procedures
– Establish suppliers who don't send their invoices in to the mailbox and identify how they are obtained – secure log ins for any portals used.
The role offers remote working and is looking for someone to start within the next week.
The hourly rate for this role is up to £15ph+ holiday depending on experience
