Project Buyer Technical Buyer

Job Purpose
To manage the sourcing of all outsourced products and services, ensuring the supply chain meets cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness targets
Key Accountabilities
Devise project supplier strategies in support of customer bids.
Negotiate terms with supplier including price and delivery.
Expedite orders ensuring deliveries meet contracted requirements.
Report progress in accordance with programme management processes.
Develop category strategies working with the technical team to increase the levels of standardisation in critical products.
Produce the sales and operations plan for company outsourced products and services.
Key Deliverables:
Negotiate cost savings to increase margin on bought out product.
Customer projects delivered on time to cost and quality requirements.
Standardisation of key outsourced products.
Forecast cash.
