Our well respected client has a vacancy for a Procurement Business Partner. This is a temporary, ongoing role, working remotely.
The Role:
* To assist the Head of Procurement and Senior Procurement Business Partner in the delivery of Procurement services to the Group, maximising value for money and delivering a first-class service.
* As the Procurement Business Partner you will work with the business to ensure all compliance and assurance requirements are met and the solution meets business minimum standards
* Work closely with and support other team members in the delivery of Procurement services to the Group
* Work closely with the business under the guidance of the Head of Procurement to ensure the Procurement process supports the overall business strategy and best practice guidelines are adhered to
* Work with Risk, Compliance & Finance to ensure all new vendor requests have been reviewed and approved by all required stakeholders prior to being setup in the master data system following agreed processes, adding approved suppliers to all required systems
* Assist with the end-to-end tender process ensuring tenders are delivered to best practice and tender governance frameworks
* Work with the business to ensure P2P flows seamlessly
* Work with product owners to develop the Procurement workload pipeline
* Support product owners and Head of Procurement to agree important categories, create and document high level sourcing strategies, tracking savings targets
* Manage the Approved / Preferred Supplier database
* Assist with the negotiation of contracts with suppliers under agreed authority levels, working with in house or external legal counsel where appropriate
* Supporting product owners in the development and agreement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers, ensuring that the product owner is equipped to monitor performance in accordance with SLAs and Operational Level Agreements
* Ensuring that requirements are clearly articulated to support suppliers in responding effectively to the requirements of the business
* Supporting on Corporate Social Responsibility and Relationship Management activities
Requirements
* Proven experience in a procurement role
* Knowledge of industry best practice in dealing with suppliers
* Ability to analyse data to inform effective decision making
* Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business
* Experience of assisting on the negotiation of supplier contracts
* Strong teamworking skills
* A relevant procurement qualification e.g. CIPS/MCIPS (desirable)
