The UK Group operates from over 200 selling locations with a central finance and administration function based in Bradford.
The Position:
Due to internal progression and continued growth, we are looking for a Pricing Manager to take responsibility for our customer pricing. As the Pricing Manager you will report to the Managing Director.
Areas of responsibility include:
* Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters
* Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution
* Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness
* Conduct oral presentations, field research and cost revisions.
* Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements and stimulate implementation and maintenance of pricing system
* Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions
* Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database
* Perform partnering with buyers, product managers and sales department to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market
* Analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer

* Experience with a reporting or business intelligence solution such as Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, Excel Power Query or similar.
Desirable skills & experience:
* Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, stored procedures, functions, agent jobs)
* Experience of working within the motor industry
* 2 years in a data analyst, commercial analyst or pricing analyst role (or equivalent)
* Experience of extracting and manipulating data from an SQL Server based ERP system
* Understanding of statistical methods such as regression analysis
