We are now seeking an Operations and Purchasing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in either Milton Keynes or Bicester.

The Role
As an Operations and Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels to ensure we continue to maintain high-quality and high levels of production.
Planning ahead to ensure availability of stock and materials, you will ensure quality is maintained, suppliers are accurately invoiced and in-house systems are updated with stock levels.
You will build good relationships with suppliers, as well as teams across the business, placing and tracking stock orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Additionally, your role will involve:
– Ensuring stock levels remain consistent
– Managing monthly stock reports and quarterly physical stock checks
– Reporting on supply chain KPIs
– Ensuring significant purchases are strategically analysed
– Seeking to improve the performance of delivery, reliability and quality
About You
To be considered as an Operations and Purchasing Assistant, you will need:
– Experience working in a purchasing role sourcing multiple products
– Experience in supplier performance management with measurable improvements achieved
– Experience building and utilising relationships to further business interests
The working hours for this role are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
