National Purchasing Analyst – Ideal Bathrooms – Milton Keynes

We are looking for motivated, organised and flexible National Purchasing Analysts to join our Purchasing Department, based in our Milton Keynes Head Office. The successful candidates will plan, forecast and procure stock, whilst ensuring the highest level of stock availability is maintained and excess stocks are at a minimum.

How will you contribute to our purpose?
Analyse sales patterns and inventory levels of existing stock in order to take key procurement decisions.
Plan capacity of incoming load build to ensure purchase orders are delivered in a 'flat' methodology.
Forecast and manage stock levels at company and depot level to ensure that capacity is not over reached.
Identify, manage and reduce excess stocks, recommending and actioning stock cleanses as necessary.
Provide period end target tracking.
Build purchase orders to ensure that all volume targets are reached.
Maintain and create reporting structure to provide full visibility of purchases made and on order.
Provide recommendations of products to follow exit routes.
Ensure all purchase orders and invoices are passed correctly with no discrepancies.
Ensure order management systems are set to provide optimum data accuracy and order planning.
Manage stock values, order books and overdue purchase orders.
Ensure proper documentation of purchase records as well as product inventory and deliveries.
Hold regular meetings with suppliers to create ways to improve KPIs
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Extensive experience in purchase order placement.
Evidence of forecasting skills and inventory interrogation.
Systemic Inventory Management experience.
Experience of successful supplier management.
Advanced PC and Excel skills.
Pride in producing excellent KPIs by taking ownership and responsibility.
Attention to detail and are an effective planner, compatible with flexibility where required.
