Our client provides intricate and complex services to several high-quality multiple retailer accounts, as well as hundreds of prestigious independent retailers. The number of retailers who use this service is set to double in the next 2 years. The role of Head of Retail Display Planning is predominantly based at our clients Milton Keynes Office, but will include regular visits to their Head Office in Watford.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Retail Display Planning will include but are not limited to:
Understanding the business as a whole, and in particular, how the activities undertaken in your sector impact on the profitability of the business.
Communicating with, supporting, and working in alignment with your fellow managers and Directors.
Developing and encouraging your team members to deliver the agreed levels of performance consistently.
Ensuring that all plans and associated services are completed on time, in full and to the agreed specifications.
Improving and developing the effectiveness and efficiency of all Display Planning functions, processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a leader of people, with at least 2 years management experience.
Have worked as a display planner or similar.
Have experience in both customer & supplier facing environments.
Be highly skilled in MS Excel, have experience of analysis suites and reporting software, and ideally product information software.
Have strong project management and analytical skills, and be able to present work to an advanced professional standard.
Have a strong commercial awareness.
Be an efficient and effective communicator, able to influence and persuade with confidence and ease.
Need to be mobile as an element of travel to other sites will be required.
