Who are we looking for?

Our client is seeking a Commercial Business Partner to join their finance team at the company’s Head Office in Milton Keynes. This is a pure business partnering role, and a new role for the company as they look for someone to use their financial data to add commercial insight in to the business. Our client needs someone who can build relationships with non-finance stakeholders and provide insight and challenge.

Other Essential Qualities:

Degree qualified or equivalent
Qualified CIMA / ACA with relevant PQE
Retail experience
Financial analysis or planning experience
Excellent Excel modelling skills imperative
Strong people leadership and relationship-building skills
Ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial audiences

About the role

You will report directly to the Finance Director and be part of a department of nine.

Main duties include:

Responsible for financial forecasts
Working with stakeholders to understand what analysis they need and building this.

Completing standard monthly reports, analysing results and interpreting these.

Understanding where further analysis is needed each month based on the standard analysis completed.

Using your communication and influencing skills to translate the analysis into meaningful insights that'll directly impact the business performance.

Involvement in a range of projects as the business continues to evolve.
Teams to support include Sourcing and Design, Marketing, Retail, IT and Operations.
