Overview of role
Are you an experienced Indirect Category Buyer who’s methodical, analytical and has a keen eye for detail? Are you looking to work for an established, dynamic motor retailer, and support a fast-paced business through the efficient procurement of goods and services?
If you excel at working within a successful team, building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and have experience in leading tender processes and contract negotiation, then we are looking for you.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join us on a fixed-term contract, initially for 6-months, to work within our successful Procurement team. This is a remote working position.
We're looking for someone to:
* Manage the procurement tender process
* Manage supplier relationships and contract renewals
* Prepare contract documents and negotiate terms
* Identify cost saving opportunities
* Support with the implementation of our new PO system
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in a Buyer role
* Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Is analytical and highly organised
