Branch Manager

Milton Keynes

25-28K basic salary depending on experience

Commission of up to 18% of salary per annum

OTE package £29,500 – £33,040

Full time and permanent role

We are recruiting for a Branch Manager for our customer in Milton Keynes – one of the leading rental companies in the UK.

As Branch Manager you will be responsible for driving branch success through maximisation of sales opportunities and promoting brand awareness, as well as managing and motivating a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

·         Identify new sales opportunities and promote the upselling of incremental products and services

·         Ensure staff are fully trained and work within Service Level Agreements to ensure excellent customer service

·         Manage P&L to ensure all branch costs are within acceptable parameters

·         Taking responsibility for staffing levels within the branch – including recruitment and retention matters

·         Developing a positive work environment where the staff are all motivated to succeed

·         Developing and reviewing performance improvement plans

About You:

·         Must be a self-starter with a positive approach to team development and continuous improvement

·         Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and lead by example

·         Retail management experience – either a Branch Manager currently, or an Assistant Branch Manager looking for that next step up

·         Cost control experience

·         Excellent communication and administrative skills

·         Must hold a full UK driving licence (for minimum of 12 months)

Salary & Shifts:

·         Basic salary of 25-28K depending on experience

·         Commission of up to 18% of annual salary

·         OTE package £29,500-£33,040

·         40 hours per week

·         Monday-Saturday operation (Saturdays on rota)

·         9-5pm

·         30 days holiday

·         Pension scheme

·         Summer and Christmas events
