Red is recruiting a permanent Assistant Manager on behalf of one of the UK's largest furniture retailers in Milton Keynes. Salary: £22,750 per annum, with OTE £40,000

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: 40 hours per week (working shifts between 9.30am-8.00pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am-6.00pm Saturday and 10.30am-5.00pm Sunday, with 1 in 6 weekends off)

Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager:

Guiding customers to create their ideal home, listening to their needs, and asking the right questions
Providing the ultimate customer experience
Overachieving on your targets
Performing and delivering while learning and developing
Ensuring customer orders are accurately entered and processed through our internal system
As required, covering the Store Manager's key duties in their absence

Skills of an Assistant Manager:

Motivated and driven to overachieve on targets
Ability to support your manager and your team
A good listener, who cares about our customers
A people person who can adapt their style dependent on who they are talking to
Strong knowledge of successful sales techniques and processes

This role is a full time opportunity, which includes working bank holidays and weekends, as these are our highest earning days!
